Large torrents can be very beneficial to your ratio. I just recently downloaded a gb torrent of the show Glee and it has seeded for gb. Considering that was a free leach that means I just gained gb's of upload with no risk to hurt my ratio. Otherwise just download things that might be popular even if you don't want it.
